Midas Whale is a Deadhead whale with blue or grey skin, one glowing right index finger, and a lot-worn crown. His public trail begins on New Year's Eve 2015. He answers to @themidaswhale and midaswhale.eth, and builds NFA Bears.
The treasury is gone. One right index finger still glows. The public trail is less mythic: @themidaswhale, midaswhale.eth, the wallet, NFA Bears, and a decade of showing up.
The crown. The posture. The glow in his right hand. The ability to hold a friend without turning them to gold.
Broke is where he returns, though money can have its season. People, music, travel, and the work keep him spiritually rich. He hopes the pockets might catch up someday, and keeps living in the meantime.

NFA Bears means Non-Fungible Acid Bears. Midas Whale founded the project around DIY shows, community, and keeping the scene alive. Its chain home and specific access mechanics are still being worked out.

Before wallets there were tapes. Before token gates there was one finger in the air and somebody with an extra. Before governance forums there was the bus.
